Working as an Enhanced Healthcare Support Worker is more than just a job, it’s a fulfilling career where you can make a difference in people’s lives every day. Help deliver hands-on care, support patients and work closely with a dedicated team.

Why be an Enhanced Healthcare Support Worker?

Join our Enhanced Care Team and make a real difference to the lives of our most vulnerable patients. Working on a one-to-one basis, Enhanced Healthcare Support Workers build meaningful relationships, support patients through structured daily activities, and help them feel settled, safe, and prepared for recovery and discharge. Work closely with ward teams, families, and Activity Coordinators, with the support of experienced Team Managers and Shift Leaders in a role that is both rewarding and varied. Our innovative peripatetic Enhanced Care Team offers the opportunity to work across different wards, meet a range of patients, and truly transform patient and family experiences during their hospital stay.

“I can go home with peace of mind, knowing Jim is in capable hands. It allows me to spend more quality time with him, rather than worrying about his care. I would completely endorse the Enhanced Healthcare Support Worker role, it’s just brilliant and has made all the difference to our lives.”
