I love my job as a Diagnostic Radiographer. Since qualifying I have enjoyed working with patients from all different backgrounds within an environment that promotes health, safety and great patient care. My job is rewarding and every day I feel proud of my achievements and the way I’m able to have a positive impact on patient experience. I am supported by a fantastic team of colleagues who encourage me and bring positivity to the department.
I have progressed quickly in my career, from a newly qualified Radiographer to a Band 6 Senior Practice Education Radiographer, and now to a Clinical Governance Superintendent, allowing me to step into quality improvement for the service as a whole. I feel so lucky to have achieved such great things working at Gloucestershire Hospitals and hope to continue to develop my skills and career here in the future.
